Nice!

Nice was fun. We stayed at this b&b called Nice Home Sweet Home, and I have to say, it really is the most comfy B&B I've ever stayed in. The room was huge and airy and pretty, and I love it that the big and spacious bathroom had a huge cabinet where we can put our toiletries away so all the people who share the bathroom will not clutter the bathtub with stuff. And the owner Genevieve stocks up the fridge with cheap big bottles of water, which is so much cheaper than the vendors outside. To anyone who travels in France, DRINK TAP WATER. All the tiny bitsy bottles of water were like 2 euros or more, I swear I spent over a hundred euros just on water alone. But the owner sells a big bottle for 80 cents. Which was awesome, although we found the same bottle in rome's supermarket for 23 cents. Man, these people can survive on just selling water to tourists, I swear.

Nice is a nice seaside town, which has a very touristy vibe. There's people suntanning naked on the beach, there's old gross guys just standing there to get off on the naked bodies. Oh well. We bought 3 euros straw mats, and walked around looking like china tourists! Ha! It was fun, the shopping was great. Got a shawl that I heart! It was really interesting cuz it was hard to find a french restaurant! Most of the restaurants were oddly, italian. Maybe they have a huge italian population. I think the best meal I had was the anchovies salad I had during the first meal there, and the rest were touristy fare which was fine, but not great. The worst dish of the place was this uni pasta that the waiter swears by, and is utterly gross. It tastes somewhat like child vomit and rotting fish. Urgh, I can feel my stomach hurling around just thinking back on it.

We went to an american bar called Wayne's. Apparently it's hip and Jenn and I were like, what are we doing in an american bar. Met these two guys, but I think the cuter one (which we wanted for Ariane) was just wingman to the other who was trying to get in my pants. They followed us the whole night, adorning us with free drinks, and the guy was actually pretty fun to talk to because he's french but learning spanish, and whatever I don't know to say in French, I could speak in Spanish, so we were just talking in French and Spanish! Super fun, but not so fun when he kept asking me mournfully why I am married. Ha!

Went to Monacco, just a 15 min train ride away. It's nice, but too oldish for me. It was an eye-opener seeing all the fancy cars parked in the self park lots and the luxurious yatches.

Other than the fact that the nights were hot with no A/C in the room, I really enjoyed my time with the girls. :)

 On the streets in Nice.
At a fancy restaurant overlooking the harbor in Monacco.
Us with our straw mats (so unglam!) and delicious crepes!!!
Us suntanning, with our suits ON, on the beach. :)
 Niceeeee.
Sorry, stumbled upon my dream car in Monaco, had to take a picture of it!!!
